Honourable Patrice Nisbett Parliamentary representative for St James and St Thomas in The Federal House, son of Marion Jeffers and Aubrey Nisbett was born on the 5th day of September 1971 in the parish of St. James in the island of Nevis.  He was called to the Bar in Nevis on the 7th day of November 1995 and since then has had an active career at the Bar, engaging in both civil and criminal cases at the Nisbetts Law Firm.  While engaged in private practice, Patrice gained the reputation as the poor persons lawyer as he was one of the few lawyers always willing to take the case of the poor man and advocate on his behalf whether at the Magistrate or High Court.

– Responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of forty-four (44) HIV/AIDS projects in St Vincent & The Grenadines, St Lucia, St Kitts & Nevis, Trinidad & Tobago and Surinam. Oversaw the development and strengthening of HIV/AIDS Networks in the five countries.

1991 – 1999   Director: Youth and Community Services in Nevis. 
– Implemented anti-poverty programmes for youth, women, children, and the aged.
– Organised an annual Youth in Business Exhibition to promote enterprise among young people.
– Developed a new Welfare Benefits programme for Women and Children
– Worked closely with non-governmental organizations to address poverty among Youth, Women, and the Aged. A National Training Programme resulted from this collaboration.

Born in 1967 in Charlestown this accomplished scholar has chosen to take the ultimate step in service to his country.  A passionate debater throughout his student years, Robelto has prepared himself for Cabinet by first pursuing careers in Agriculture as a Crop Protection Specialist and then by entering the legal profession.  Before being elected to representative politics in the Nevis Local Elections  on July 10, 2006, Robelto Hector operated his own law firm Hector and Associates in Charlestown.

In his spare time Robelto enjoys playing tape ball cricket with the guys at Bucco Park on Government Road, mixing and mingling with his constituents and fishing.
