Mr. Stedmon Tross

Cabinet Secretary

Mr Stedmond B. Tross received a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI), and a MBA in Finance and Banking from Manchester Business School; University of Manchester.

Mr Tross has an extensive history in banking spanning over 20 years and has served in Senior Positions in several financial institutions locally and regionally. He started his banking career at Barclays Banks PLC and has since served as the Accountant for the Bank of Nevis, the Assistant Manager and Director of the Nevis Cooperative Bank; during which time he lead the delegation for the buy-out of the said bank by the Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago. Mr Tross assisted in transferring the Electricity Department of the Nevis Island Administration to the Nevis Electricity Company (NEVLEC) and served as one of its founding directors. He has also served as the Treasurer and a Director of the Nevis Co-operative Credit Union and is the Managing Director of Tross Shipping and Renaissance Trust Ltd.

Mr Tross is the author of the book “Corporate Culture; A Necessity or an Irrelevance”. He currently serves as the Cabinet Secretary of the Nevis Island Administration and Senior Advisor to the Premier of Nevis.
