In what is expected to be the last sitting of the Nevis Island Assembly for 2020, Hon Mark Brantley Premier and Minister of Finance in the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), will table the Draft Estimates 2021, and seek leave to introduce and have read a first, second and third time the Nevis Appropriation (2021) Ordinance, 2020.
Sixteen persons who recently retired from the Ministry of Education, were recognised for their years of service to nation building at an Awards Ceremony and hosted by the Ministry of Education Library Services and Information Technology Cocktail at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre (NEPAC) on Saturday, February 08, 2020.
An officer at the Criminal Investigation Department No. 653 Constable Carl Gordon, is the Constable of the Year for 2018 on Nevis. He emerged winner from a field of eight awardees at the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) (Nevis Division) Constable’s Awards Ceremony and Dinner. It was hosted by the Strategic Planning Group on February 23, 2019, at the Occasions Entertainment Arcade at Pinney’s Estate.
