Renowned for his ability to successfully bridge public policy with institutional enterprise, Mr. Tross brings decades of senior-level private sector expertise to his public duties, having spent many years as a prominent manager for the Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (RBTT).

Recognizing his extensive business acumen and community standing, Premier Hon. Mark Brantley appointed him in 2018 as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC). In this parallel leadership capacity, Mr. Tross actively steers the island’s primary utility provider, guiding agency operations through crucial infrastructure modernizations, leadership transitions, and landmark international negotiations—such as the island’s joint initiatives with global partners to secure drilling contracts and successfully transition Nevis toward self-sustaining geothermal and renewable energy resources.
