Nevis CCTV & Dispatch Center (NEVCOM)

The Nevis CCTV & Dispatch Center (NEVCOM) is responsible for monitoring public surveillance systems and coordinating communication and response to security incidents across the island. The department serves as a centralized monitoring and communication hub that supports crime prevention, emergency response, and public safety operations.

1. Integrity: Operating all CCTV and dispatch systems ethically, responsibly, and in accordance with the laws of St. Kitts and Nevis.

2. Accountability: Maintaining accurate records of surveillance, communications, and incident responses.

3. Professionalism: Delivering high-quality monitoring and dispatch services through trained and dedicated personnel.

4. Responsiveness: Ensuring timely communication and rapid coordination with security teams and emergency services.

5. Public Safety: Prioritizing the safety and well-being of residents and visitors across the island through effective monitoring and rapid response.

6. Collaboration: Working closely with the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Services, SKNDF Coast Guard and other government agencies.

· Monitor CCTV cameras installed across key locations in Nevis, including public spaces and government facilities.

· Detect and report suspicious or criminal activity in real time.

· Receive and manage incoming reports, alarms emergency calls.

· Dispatch the appropriate response units, including police, fire, EMS and the coast guard.

· Maintain detailed records of surveillance activities, incidents, and communications.

· Provide real-time communication and coordination between field personnel and command centers.

· Provide CCTV footage and incident documentation to assist investigations conducted by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.

· Support the broader public safety initiatives of the Nevis Island Administration.
