The following is an announcement from the Ministry of Human Resources in the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) regarding emergency aid from the Organization of American States (OAS) for Undergraduate and Graduate students pursuing studies in the United States of America.
CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (August 31, 2010) — Harnessing the wind to generate electricity that will drive the wheels and engines of the economy was an exciting development of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. That view was expressed by Organisation of American States (OAS) Representative for St. Kitts and Nevis Mr. Starret Greene at a ceremony to launch the official start of the WindWatt Wind Farm on Friday at Maddens Estate in Nevis.
CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (June 15, 2010) — Organisation of the American States (OAS) Representative for St. Kitts and Nevis Mr. Starret Greene said he relished the opportunity to continue to work with all functionaries in St. Kitts and Nevis to ensure that technical cooperation projects and activities the OAS provided for the Federation was proportionally allocated for the benefit of citizens on both sides of the channel.
