NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (July 27) 2016) – The following is a notice from the Public Works Department (PWD) dated July 27, 2016, regarding traffic from the Long Point Port to New River.

 

Please note that the Public Works Department will be transporting aggregate from Long Point Port to New River on Wednesday August 03, 2016.

 

For this activity, large dump trucks will be used to transport the material during the period of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

All are asked to exercise extreme caution while using the portion of the island’s Main Road that falls within these areas and to kindly adhere to instructions of the traffic directors along the route.
