The Department of Statistics is please to present the 8th Revised Edition of the Annual Statistical Digest. By collecting and analyzing the data we are able to communicate statistics to aid in increase knowledge and public awareness.
I am pleased to release the 7th revised-edition of the Statistical Digest. As one of
the Department of Statistics’ mandate, the publication is intended for use as an
essential reference tool for policy makers and economists.

Welcome to the 2019 issue of the Statistics Digest. Presented by the Department of Statistics, this
6th revised-edition, is intended for use as an essential reference tool for policy makers and
economists.
Nevis Tourism Realities (NTR), is produced in a continual effort to disseminate information on the movements and/or developments within the Tourism Industry for the period of January to March 2021.
With specific emphasis on visitor arrivals, the release of this 2020 publication provides statistical data for specific indicators that may be used to track and monitor the tourism sector of the economy.
This 2017 edition, offers historic and current data on indicators, which identify key facts and figures. The graphs serve as a quick method to determine trends in a visually appealing way. The figures are mainly annual totals for calendar months, and the series have been provided for a five-year period 2012 – 2016, with figures for earlier years may be found in previous editions.
This is the third quarter report for 2017. This demonstrates tourist arrivals who visit our shores by way of the Vance W Amory International Airport and Sea port on the island of Nevis.
The purpose of this publication is to bring together in one volume some of the major important statistical series on Nevis Economic and Social trends. While it would be an exaggeration to suggest this publication is all inclusive, every effort has been made to include detailed descriptions of most of all the data presented.

The results of the continual improvement in the efficiency and quality of services provided by the tourism sector, continues to impact positively by the influx of inbound tourists during the period January to September, 2016.
As the first in a series of publications, the aim is to provide a comprehensive and current overview of travelers (tourists) inward bound via our air and sea ports. The data presented is in the form of a monthly time frame and figures for the past two years as comparison are also included where possible.
