The Organization of American States (OAS) in collaboration with Colorado State University invites interested persons to apply for scholarships to pursue Undergraduate Degrees in any of the programmes offered at the Alma College,   the Colorado State University, and the Jackson State University of the United States.

Interested persons are to contact the respective University, using the University’s contact information provided on the OAS Scholarship website. For classes beginning Spring 2018 (January), please be advised that the University’s admission deadline is Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Moreover, submission must be made for the scholarship application by November 15, 2017, via the OAS website.

The Nevis Island Administration, Ministry of Human Resources is pleased to inform that the OAS Academic Scholarship Program is now open to receive applications from persons interested in undergraduate studies.

Scholarships will be awarded for;

  • the last two academic years of a bachelor’s degree and can be completed Onsite or Online or a combination of both;
  • full-time studies at any university in an OAS Member State; and
  • a minimum period of one (1) academic year and a maximum period of two (2) academic years.

Scholarship benefits are as follows:

  • Tuition fees
  • Health insurance
  • Monthly complementary subsistence allowance
  • Roundtrip airfare
  • Yearly books/study materials allowance

A copy of your completed online application must be forwarded to the Ministry of Human Resources by May 12, 2020.
