Director of Audit Report 2017 – 2018
Pursuant to section 76 (4) of the Saint Christopher and Nevis Constitution Order 1983, I have
the honour of submitting my report on the Accounts of the Administration for tabling in the
Nevis Island Assembly.
This Audit Report is on the Accounts for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2017 and 2018.

NIA Social Media Policy
The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines for Government employees on the use of social media while in the employ of the Nevis Island Administration. This policy applies to official use of social media on behalf of the Government and non‐official personal use by all Government employees.
Financial Assistance and Study Leave Policy
The purpose of this policy is to set out the framework within which decisions about Financial Assistance and/or Study Leave are made, as well as the rights and responsibilities of the applicant and the relevant authorities.
Financial Assistance for Higher Education
Applicants should take note that financial assistance is neither a right nor an entitlement; approval is at the discretion of the relevant authorities of the Nevis Island Administration.
