Nevis Business owners advised to renew business license
NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (January 20, 2015) — The Inland Revenue Department addressed the renewal of business licenses for the year of 201, on Monday 19 January, 2015.
Nyoka Bailey Senior Tax Inspector of The Inland Revenue Department Tax Payers Services told the Department of Information, that business owners on Nevis should renew their business license on or before January 31st, 2015. She also stated that failure to renew, would attract an additional one percent of the license fee.
Bailey also informed business owners that representatives from the Department planned to visit businesses on the island shortly.
“Soon, our Department’s Tax Payers Services will be visiting the various businesses within Nevis to advise them about their responsibilities and their duties in terms of holding such business license,” she said.
The Island Revenue Department is situated in the Solomon Arcade in Charlestown.
