NIA CHARLESTOWN  NEVIS (March 31, 2014) — Wednesday, April 2, 2014 has been declared a public half-holiday in the island of Nevis from 12 noon, on the occasion of the Gulf Insurance Primary Schools Championship Sports Meet. The general public is notified that this is in accordance with a proclamation made by Deputy Governor General His Honour Mr. Eustace John, C.M.G.
 
 
The 32nd Gulf Insurance Primary Schools Championship Sports Meet is expected to take place at the Elquemedo T. Willett Park from 11 a.m. on April 2, 2014 and involve the participation of eight of Nevis’ primary schools: Charlestown Primary School, Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School, Ivor Walters Primary School, Joycelyn Liburd Primary School, Maude Crosse Preparatory School, St. James’ Primary School, St. Thomas’ Primary School and Violet O. Jeffers-Nicholls Primary School.
