NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (June 17, 2019) – The following is a request from the Ministry of Health and Gender Affairs on Nevis inviting women and youth groups to attend an upcoming regional forum.

The Ministry of Health and Gender Affairs in the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) will be hosting a Regional Stakeholder Dialogue and Consensus Building Workshop on Women and Youth in Peace and Security.

The forum will be held at the Mount Nevis Hotel on June 25 – 26, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. The consultation aims to bring together a cadre of females and youth from a wide cross section of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) community.

As a culmination to this event, a rally is planned for Wednesday June 26 at: 4:30 p.m.  The rally will start in the vicinity of the Old Cinema at Low Street and end at the Cultural Village.

In light of the aforementioned, the ministry is kindly inviting women and youth groups to be a part of this event.
