NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (July 17, 2023)- The following is an announcement by the Ministry of Human Resources in the Nevis Island Administration:

Monroe College Scholarship Offer 2023-24

The Nevis Island Administration, Ministry of Human Resources is pleased to inform that the MONROE College invites citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis to apply for higher education scholarships.  For New York bound students, USD$2,500 per semesters up to 3 semesters per annum. For candidates pursuing fully online offerings, where tuition is significantly lower, the most common scholarship award will be USD$1,000 per semester up to 3 semesters per annum.

Candidates for either Associates or Bachelor’s Degree programs, must submit the following documents along with a completed application and paid application fee of USD$35.00:

o        Official High School diploma or certificate of qualifications;
o        Official High School and/or College(s) transcript(s);
o        CSEC certificate with minimum of five (5) passes;
o        Admissions Interview; and
o        If applicable, CAPE certificate.

o        Upon Acceptance, Immunizations will be required.

MONROE College is still accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Academic Year.  Students who wish to apply: www.monroecollege.edu/apply. Upon submission, please forward a copy of your application to the Ministry of Human Resources.
