NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (October 01, 2018) — The following is an announcement from the Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC), regarding a power outage

The general public and more importantly our customers on the Gingerland and Charlestown 2 Feeders, will experience a power outage this afternoon, Monday, October 01, 2018, at 4 a.m.

This outage which is expected to last until 5 p.m. is to facilitate emergency repairs that developed earlier today.

The Gingerland Feeder is all that area from Prospect to Camps via Market Shop in Gingerland, while Charlestown 2 Feeder includes Prospect, Brown Hill, Farms, Long Point Road, Bath Village and areas in close proximity.

NEVLEC remains resolute to the task of providing quality electrical service to the island of Nevis and apologies for the inconvenience caused by this outage.
