Premier’s Ministry announces extension regarding Human Rights Workshop
NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (APRIL 25, 2016) — The following is a notice from the Premier’s Ministry dated April 22, 2016 advising of an extension of deadline for submission of names for participation in the Human Rights Workshop.
All interested organisations and groups are asked to note that the deadline for submission of names of participants for the two-day workshop to heighten awareness on the issue of Human Rights, the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Process and the work of the United Nations Treaty Bodies workshop has been extended to Friday, 6 may, 2016.
This workshop is scheduled to take place at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) at Long Point from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 May, 2016.

The event is a collaborative effort of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Civil Aviation, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Commission on Human Rights (UNHCR).
