NIA – CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS (February 02, 2014) — Residents of upper and lower Ramsbury, upper Craddock Road and lower Hamilton, may experience interruptions to their water supply effective Monday, February 3, 2014.

 

 

According to a release from the Nevis Water Department [NWD], the interruptions should be on weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

 

 

“This is to facilitate the start of Phase 2 of the Hamilton Road Project,” the release reads, adding that “the re-alignment of the pipeline is also expected to start February 3rd 2014.”

 

 

As part of the project, the NWD is expected to install approximately 800 feet of six-inch pumping mains and 1,700 feet of four-inch distribution mains.
