NIA CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS (June 22, 2018) — The following is an advisory from the Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC), regarding a scheduled power outage to facilitate upgrades to electrical lines.

Power outage: Sunday 24th June 2018

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Why: To facilitate upgrade lines

Areas to be affected: Main Street (in the vicinity of Scotia Bank) to New Cut including Craddock Road and Old Hospital Road and areas in close proximity.

Power outage: Tuesday 26 June 2018

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Why: To facilitate upgrade lines at Farms

Areas to be affected: Malcolm Hill to Long Point Road (in the vicinity of Horsfords Valu Mart) and areas in close proximity

NEVLEC apologises for the inconveniences that may be caused by these outages and reminds customers that in each case service may be delayed to later than the time specified.
