Premier lauds new Ministry of Education television program

CHARLESTOWN,NEVIS (Friday, April 20th, 2012)–Premier and Minister of Education, the Hon. Joseph Parry said he is pleased about the new television show, Family Edutainment Program (FEP) which will inform viewers about the latest happenings in  schools, the Ministry of Education and Library services.

During an interview with the Department of Information Friday morning, Premier Parry said that the program is a excellent idea  to get viewers to see schools and children at work.
“FEP is designed to give a first hand view of the activities in Nevis schools and the Ministry of Education,” said the Premier.

The new program will premiere on Wednesday April 25th, following the Nevis Newscast and it will continue in that time schedule.
“A number of persons with various backgrounds sit on the committee and this was intentionally designed so that a number of areas could be addressed.

“The program is being sponsored by TDC and we are so happy for all of the support given by many for this endeavor,” commented Mrs. Sonita O. Daniel, Director of Nevis Library Services.
