Charlestown, Nevis (Monday, October 15. 2012)– Premier and Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Joseph Parry has lauded the Nevisian beach restaurant, Chevy’s Calypso Beach Bar and Grill (located on Pinney’s Beach) as the popular hot-spot which has earned a second, Recommended on TripAdvisor sticker.

“It is outstanding to see a number of Nevisian hotels and restaurants being recognized for a job well done,” said Premier Parry on Friday morning to the Department of Information.

Premier Parry said he has received a letter informing him that the widely respected travel promotion website- TripAdvisor, bestowed another endorsement to Chevy’s Calypso Beach Bar and Grill.

According to a letter from President of TripAdvisor, Ms. Christine Petersen, travelers have been impressed by the restaurants’ service and business standards, and for that a “stamp of approval” has been given to the restaurant.

“Since you have received the coveted Recommended on TripAdvisor sticker, we hope you’ll display it with pride for customers to see”, said Ms. Petersen.
Restaurant owner , Mr. Eugene ‘Chevy’ Chiverton says it is a pleasure to be recognized by TripAdvisor for his staff’s hard work, good service and his great business savvy.

Chevy’s is one of the most popular hang-out spots with locals, expats and tourists on the island.
