Ministry of Tourism Launches Six Teen Hospitality Contestants

NIA-CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS (December 7TH, 2011) — Six teen-aged beauties were, last Saturday, [Dec. 4] launched as the 2012 contestants in the Miss Teen Hospitality Pageant.

 
Miss Four Seasons Resort Hydeia Tyson, Miss Nisbet Plantation Beach Club Sharizelle Belle, Miss Nevisian Heritage Village Shannon Morton, Miss Lime Beach Bar and Tours Kevonie Pemberton, Miss Oualie Beach Resort Kareemah Reis and Miss Ole House Café Cinnamon Matthew will compete in what is expected to be a keenly contested pageant on Feb. 4, 2012 at the Nevis Cultural Complex.
 
An appreciative audience warmly embraced the contestants who made two appearances, alongside the National Carnival Queen Pageant contestants and other Caribbean beauties, at the well-attended “Sugar Mas Comes to Nevis” event at Lime Beach Bar.
 
With two months remaining before the Miss Teen Hospitality Pageant, the organising committee, chaired by former Miss Culture Queen Tamica Lawrence, has a number of promotional activities planned for the contestants.
 
Meantime, the reigning Teen Hospitality Queen Erica Doras, is poised to represent Nevis in the Dec. 29th Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant on St. Kitts.
 
The second annual Miss Teen Hospitality Pageant is being organised by the Nevis Island Administration’s Ministry of Tourism.
