New Taiwanese Ambassador pays courtesy call on Premier of Nevis

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS–MONDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2010) Premier of Nevis, Hon. Joseph Parry welcomed the incoming Ambassador of Taiwan to St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency Miguel Li-Jey Tsao, during a courtesy call at the Premiers Bath Hotel office last week Tuesday.

 

Ambassador shakes hands with Premier

Ambassador Tsao and the Premier held a cordial and friendly meeting and discussed the longstanding and close friendship between Nevis and Taiwan. They expressed the will to make joint efforts to explore future potential areas of cooperation especially in the fields of investment, Information Technology, Crime prevention and Education.

According to the Premier, the Nevis Island Administration stood ready to work with Taiwan to continue to push for the development of Nevis.

At the end of the meeting both gentlemen expressed appreciation for the good momentum in the development of bilateral relations and they stressed the will to further promote the exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
