Charlestown, Nevis–(Monday, August 8th , 2011) Nevis’ Premier, the Hon. Joseph Parry will be a guest on the Freedom Radio 106.5 FM -Issues Program on Monday afternoon at 1:30pm.

Host of the popular talk show, Mr. Juni Liburd said the interview will be the first time he will have the Premier as a guest on the program since the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) won the 2011 Local Elections on July 11, 2011.

“As a guest on the Issues program it will afford yet another avenue to our nationals and residents to question, to get information and more importantly to express their own concerns and provide suggestions to me and members of the Nevis Island Administration on the many issues and challenges,” said the Premier.

Mr. Parry touted several initiatives of the governing NRP led Administration to consult with the electorate and keep the general public adequately informed of decisions taken by government on their behalf.

These initiatives include the Action magazine, which will soon allow members of the public and interest groups to send in written comments, suggestions and concerns. The radio-television program In Touch with the Premier and One on One private meeting’s with the general public once a month.

There is also the website, www.nia.gov.kn which disseminates information about events and developments in the Office of the Premier, as well as various Ministries and Departments in the Nevis Island Administration.
