NIA Charlestown Nevis (February 12, 2014) – The Bank of Nevis Social Club donated a number of sheet sets to the Flamboyant Nursing Home on February 12, 2014, in a move that would add comfort to the residents there.

 

 

In a brief handing over ceremony held at the Home, President of the Club, Marva Walwyn explained the purpose for the donation.

 

 

“I am here this morning with my Vice President, Mr. Regis Wiltshire and some members of the Bank of Nevis staff and we are here to donate some sheets to the residents of the nursing home. These would aid in adding to the comfort of the residents here.

 

 

“So on behalf of the Bank of Nevis Social Club and by extension the Management and Board of Directors, I would like to present to the Flamboyant Nursing Home with sheet sets for their use,” she said.

 

 

In response, Assistant Manager at the Flamboyant Nursing Home, Nurse Ima Stanley thanked the Club for the donation.

 

 

“I just want to say a heartfelt thank you on behalf of the entire Flamboyant staff and everybody in whatever way affiliated with here, to the entire Bank of Nevis staff and their whole crew. We want to say we appreciate it very much and I can assure you they are going to be put to good use starting from Sunday. A heartfelt thank you,” she said.
