General Orders
The conditions of service for government officers, instructions for the conduct of public business and other miscellaneous matters are embodied in this code of regulations which are known as General Orders. These Orders are intended to be read in conjunction with Colonial Regulations, which are not repeated in the General Orders unless administratively convenient.
Human Resources Update
One of the key themes in this year’s Back to School Opening ceremony at the end of August was Collaboration. This seems a very pertinent theme to consider as a new academic year starts in the Federation and also as we celebrate our 31st anniversary of Independence.
Economic and Financial Review, 2015
This report provides an update on the fiscal performance of the NIA and the economic performance of the major sectors in Nevis for the period January to December 2015. The year has proven to be an exceptional one, with an overall improvement in the performances of the various sectors. Similarly, the fiscal performance of the government was one with increased revenue collection and a slight reduction in the expenditure outlay.
